Context

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer M/F for the Mériel (95) and Le Pin (77) sites. You will be involved in achieving the economic gains set out in the plant performance plans, as well as improving the performance of the plant's departments (Production/Maintenance/Quality/Logistics).



Mission

  • Help roll out the Group's culture and continuous improvement policy by acting as a point of reference for your staff
  • Cost deployment : Coordination and monitoring of the process (creation of the project funnel) Triannual
  • Plant Performance Plan: Global coordination and monitoring of plant projects (annual)
  • Deployment/improvement: CPM (factory management system) / CPM Shopfloor (short interval monitoring).
  • Quality/Reliability Problem Solving Standard: training and support for employees in analysing our recurring and/or major problems.
  • Deployment of AM/PM TPM: Training and implementation in the workshops (Material, Tiles, Promat and Maintenance)
  • 5S deployment: Global diagnosis and implementation of the 5S approach (Mèriel, Atelier ELC, Promat & Carrière)
  • SMED deployment: MRL and LPN , Reducing format changeover time (SMED).
  • Cost: Optimising MP and perf losses in the ELC workshop, Improving workshop performance.
  • Quality/cost: Value chain mapping: Identify losses, Reduce losses/waste. Optimise the use of raw materials, Improve workshop performance (synthetic yield rate).
  • Crisis management support: leadership, steering and monitoring

At the same time, major investment projects will be included in the mission:

- Material, the SO is underway for the site transformation project (New Furnace, Flux, Energy Gain)

- Le Pin, the forthcoming OS for the Perlite / Endurance project, optimisation study for the Carreaux workshop.



Profile

  • At least 5 years' higher education and at least 3 years' experience in process improvement management or project management.
  • A real ability to work as part of a team with a variety of people (operators, technicians, managers)
  • Discernment, analysis and teaching skills.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrate a real ability to work independently and to organise high-stakes projects, and be a driving force behind proposals.


Job scope: Le Pin and Mériel sites


Our client is focusing its development on increasing the skills of its employees and implementing industrial process improvements (Lean, Six SIGMA, KAIZEN, etc.) through internal and external coaching.

Possibility of transferring to other operational management positions.


This is a permanent position with an end customer.
